Cop impersonator arrested in Crisp Co.
CORDELE, GA (WALB)- A Kentucky man is behind bars in a Crisp County Jail Wednesday accused of impersonating a law enforcement officer.
Cordele police got multiple calls from the Best Western Inn Saturday from folks complaining about a man peeping into their rooms.
Officers arrested Chad Fields who told them he was a Drug Enforcement Administration agent. He continued to make that claim at the Sheriff's Office, even telling officers how to book him, but investigators say it's not true.
